  Finally a restaurant on the peninsula worth visiting. Spectacular views, wonderful food, and great service. I hope this one lasts. This is definitely the best place to eat in Oak Ridge

  Haven't been to a Calhoun's in a while, but didn't seem to be as good as it was in the past. The quality of the food has dropped off substantially. The breads were very greasy and the pulled pork was mushy. However, the restaurant itself is in a beautiful location and is set up nicely.

  We had a good BBQ inspired lunch at this latest Calhoun's store in Oak Ridge. The facilities are in really good shape. Clean lines, well done floors, and super clean bathrooms are highlights of the building which located on the lake. I'm not sure how much of this interior design was done before this became Calhoun's, but it's nice. Lunch was good with typical large portions. My only issue with my BBQ pork was runny sauce in one of the BBQ sauce bottles. I also wish the table had all the available BBQ sauce choices like many BBQ places do these days.
  
  Great service from Robert. He did a great job of getting to know us, keeping our drinks topped off and providing plenty of bread for the table.
  
  Will definitely be back when we are in town.
