  Its a fun place stuck in a time capsule. Reminded me of a 50s dinner. The food great, the service was good. The place is on the dark side but it does have a homelike, Cheers feel to it. The locals love it and it appeared as though they all meet there. It was my first time there, ill be going back next time im in Tennessee.

  I have lived in Oak Ridge,TN sense 1970, Big Ed was one of the most caring people I ever met. Now that he has passed his sons from what I understand now run the business. Who ever is running it is doing a GREAT job. Big Ed's not only has the BEST PIZZA I have ever had the pleasure of eating, Also it is the ONLY PLACE IN Oak Ridge that makes VET'S feel like FAMILY and also gives the BIGGEST Military discount.

  After going to Big Ed's and being disappointed. I went back and was surprised they made a few changes. The pizza was better this time. We went around 3:30 pm on a Saturday afternoon so the atmosphere was nice and I actually enjoyed being there this time. It's still rather pricey and have long waits in the evenings and evenings (which I wouldn't wait for personally) It is a piece of History Here in Oak Ridge so for that fact try it out and try the pepperoni pizza and a cold beer. That's what We did and the second time around I decided it was better and gave Big Ed's two more stars..
